Step into the Garden
You walk into the garden, step onto the lawn.
Take off your shoes and socks.
Very carefully step onto the grass.
Feel the grass on your feet, itís cool and springy and feels quite nice.
As you walk on the grass you put your feet down very carefully.
You donít want to hurt your feet by stepping onto something sharp or unpleasant.
So you walk like a cat.
Touch the leaves of the plants.
Feel the bark of a tree.
Smell the flowers.
Pinch a leaf and smell it.
Listen to the rustle of the leaves and the birds singing.
The place is alive.
Hopefully you will feel a little more alive too.
